Naylor Adds ECAC Weekly Honor

CENTERVILLE, Mass. — Frostburg State sophomore midfielder Jen Naylor (Riva, Md./St. Mary’s) added to her weekly awards Tuesday when she was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference Mid-Atlantic Women’s Soccer Player of the Week.

Naylor, who on Monday was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Week, scored three goals in a three-win week for the Bobcats (9-5-2 overall, 8-0-1 AMCC), helping them clinch the regular-season title and the top seed in the upcoming AMCC Tournament.

She scored on a penalty kick to start FSU’s 2-1 win over La Roche last Tuesday and netted a pair of unassisted goals to pace FSU’s 3-0 victory against Lake Erie this past Saturday.

The Bobcats then blanked Hilbert 2-0 on Sunday to clinch their third straight AMCC regular-season crown.
