FSU head coach Randy Lowe, who finished 10th overall as a member of the Shippensburg Alumni, was happy with his Bobcat runners.

"We performed well. It’s always good to get the first meet out of the way. Now we have an idea of where we are as a team. We’ll get back to our regular routine this upcoming week."

The Bobcats return to action September 14 at the Lebanon Valley College Invitational in Fort Indiantown Gap, Pa.
